Finally, after a lenghty pause, construction has resumed! Yesterday they removed the broken up remains of the basketball court, and began digging the new trench for redirecting the sewer line. If you remember, there was an awkwardly-placed clean-out pipe at the end of the basketball court - this then connected the line that ran around the building to the manhole cover at the side of the soccer field by the fence-line. The new footprint for the Community Building's back porch overlaps this line, so it needs to be relocated.
And then today, they continued work on this line, and brought in more dump-trucks to start hauling away the piles of dirt. Behind the scenes, the 3rd party inspection is wrapping up (hopefully).
