As you can tell, we're sort of in a pause in construction. The crew has done (most of) all they can do with the demolition part of the first phase of this project. What's slowing things down is the final permits for the building phase. The town of Blacksburg is overwhelmed by the number of construction projects currently in the works, so they are having projects be outsourced to a third-party for the final approval of building plans. After deciding on a third-party to look over the plans, we are currently in a holding-pattern while the final comments/revisions take place. So besides having a town inspector stop by to look at the silt-retention fencing and the general property layout, not much has happened recently.
