Luckily it was only a few large branches, but today the construction crew decided that they needed to remove a few limbs from our sacred willow tree! They are in the midst of laying a large drain-line (that will route from the new buiding, over to the natural drainage route in the dry creek bed). We were sad to see the cut branches, but happy to see construction is still moving forward.
And in other news, with some teachers and parents utilizing a nearby parking lot (to free up space in our lot for construction vehicles), we were thrilled to celebrate the belated grand-opening of the pathway extension in front of the school. This lovely walk is becoming quite familiar to us!
